The objective of this group is to ride several minutes of fast steady tempo riding. Participants will be riding 25-50 miles, with the pace varying from steadily cruising along to sitting up to allow recovery time.
This is the ride to join if you want to learn and practice pace line riding. We use double, single and circular pace lines during most of our riding. If you are unfamiliar with these techniques do not worry, you will learn quickly after receiving some instruction, but mostly by watching experienced riders and participating. I also encourage you to become familiar with cycling pace lines by reading our "Pace lines 101" document.
This group usually waits for a slower rider, but if you are not familiar with the local roads bring a map.
For about the first 20 minutes we warm up by and stays together riding a double pace line.
