I plan to ride Saturday, 10/29 leaving Palmer Park at 10 AM. The forecast is for temps in the mid 40’s at 10 warming to the low 60s by afternoon. Winds from the south, southeast so that’s the direction we’ll head. Plan on a ride of about 50 miles with pace in the 14 mph…
We are extending the season with late start times. Hope you can join us. Probably not too many left. Plan for 25 miles in two hours.
The weather looks great for Saturday so plan on 25 – 30 miles into the wind for a sit down breakfast, followed by a return to Janesville – pace in the 14-15 MPH range. We won’t get many more days like this this Fall, so join us — leaving Palmer Park at 8 AM. Doug…
To take advantage of warmer temps later in the morning we will start at 11:00. Leaving from Palmer Park you can expect a 25 mile route over two hours.

UPDATE 10/17/2022: Janesville Velo Club is about to commit with our contractor to construct the East Loop and Intermediate Loop of the Palmer Park Trail system plan, however at this time we are about $6,000 short of the funds needed for construction of both features. A final 2022 fundraising effort is needed to get this…

I plan a Touring Group ride Saturday leaving Palmer Park at 10 AM. The weatherman estimates temps up to the mid 40’s by then, with highs in the 50’s. We can do a stop for brunch if everybody wants, or just finish a ride in the 45 – 60 mile range; pace around 14-15 MPH.…
I’ll be leading the casual ride Thursday — leaving Palmer Park at 9:30 AM. Plan on a ride of about 25 miles, pace in the 11-13 MPH range, finishing back at Palmer Park by Noon. Dress warmly and join us if you can. Doug V.
