Have an e-bike, hybrid, mountain, or road bike?  Do you want to go slow, are free during the day, have a helmet, and like some company during your ride?  There is a new ride starting just for you.

The Casual Ride is a slow-paced ride that will use city trails and local roads.  It is planned for a speed of 12 miles per hour and will limit distances to 20 miles.  The ride will not feature packs of riders in close groups.

This is a perfect ride for e-bike owners.  But all types of bikes are welcome. Routes are carefully selected for low traffic density.  Yes, there will be an occasional hill.

The goal is to increase distances over the summer to reach a 30-mile range.  If you need some conditioning the time to start is now.  This is a “no rider will be left behind” ride.

The first ride will be Thursday May 20 at 9:00 am.  Starting location will be the Palmer Park wading pool.  The ride will be cancelled if inclement weather is present or threatening.

Future rides dates will be announced.  There are plans to move the ride starting points to different locations.  The purpose being to explore different routes.
